Rwamwanja refugee settlelment

Following a pilot projects success, this project continued our mission in Rwamwanja Refugee settlement in South West Uganda.  It is one of the largest refugee camps in the country.  We are proud to continue this project and our partnership with Finn Church Aid.

The team was s comprised of 7 international and local volunteers, working in partnership with Finn church aid, UNCRC, Save the children, and Windle international.

The project ran for 5 weeks, and brought sport and play to thousands children and young people in Rwamwanja refugee settlement. Prior to our pilot project, there was no sport and play for children and young people in the camp. Our partners have told us that we fill a much needed gap.

See below for updates from this years team.
