In this years' project in Rwamwanja I made a lot of friends especially with the kids in the schools, secondary I loved team work with the volunteers as usual and we became one family such that only bed time could separate us.

Volunteering with World At Play in Rwamwanja this year was definitely one of the most impactful and satisfying experiences of my life. When I first headed out to Rwamwanja I had no clue about the importance and the significant effect of the play sessions on the children and the community as a whole. However, I quickly found that World At Play is not purely about facts on paper or numbers in a table, but about smiling lips and running legs.

As a refugee who had lived in the settlement as well as the city, and having experienced the situations these people pass through, at the beginning of the project I set a goal that states " By the end of the project I want to bring smiles and also improve on my skills of working with large numbers of people "
