Working with the children in Uganda has opened my eyes to a world of suffering I could not have imagined. Even though these children lived in shacks make from sticks and mud, they were never without a smile during our sessions! It made me think, even in the darkest of places, there is always something, no matter how big or small, that you can smile about. I learned more about perseverance and hope from the children than I initially could have imagined. Thank you to World at Play and Finn Church Aid for this eye-opening and life changing experience.
