WAP 2020

Rwamwanja refugee settlement

For the feelings, I don't know how to express my happiness during the entire program in Rwamwanja. Comparing to all events that happened in my life, the one I lived in Rwamwanja wasn't neither in the positive nor the superiority degree but in the superlative, it was the happiest moment I had ever had in my life. The volunteers team made me feel like I was in a real family, we played, planned for the coming sessions, looked after each other like brothers and sisters, and even laughing and giggling together. At the other side, children made me remember and live my childhood memories, I felt like I was the real me, a little boy playing in the schoolyard and running after butterflies. I will never forget that moment....

During the WAP2020 program, l learned how to lead children of different ages and young adults, also learned to make quick decisions, communication skills and so many new games. Once again, thank you World At Play!

The end of the program was not good at all!

Firstly Gaia left very early,Oliver didn't come in Kampala with us, then   after came the information about closing schools.

Once in Kampala, we only received bad news: the airport will be closed. It was total  panic at Red Chili for us and our team leader Holly. She directly changed the flight. After another bad news, she finally got another one at around midnight. It was a sad and happy moment for me,...

If I did something wrong unconsciously, I apologize...!

Far from my eyes but closer to my heart!

Love all of you guys.

It will be nice to meet you again...
