International Project 2017
World at Play's 2017 International Project saw 8 volunteers spend 10 weeks in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Serbia. You can follow their blog and read the project summary and outcomes below.
A full week of training in Wales before the team of volunteers depart to run the 2017 International Project.
The first two weeks, spent in children's homes and centres for teenagers with behavioural problems.
Spent in homes and centres for adults with physical disabilities, street children, and those of all ages with special educational needs.
Spent in refugee camps, including Harmanli - the largest in Europe. Working predmoinantly with refugees from the Middle East escaping recent and current conflicts.
